I don't know about you guys, but I really hate putting clothes on right out of the shower. I will put on my underwear and then just walk around for awhile. Maybe blow-dry my hair, put on some moisturizer, but never get dressed right away. Even if I can only get five minutes of undie time before I have to get dressed, I always take it. I just feel so much more relaxed when I'm not throwing clothes on right away and becoming annoyed with the one spot on me that I somehow didn't dry all the way and makes my clothing stick to me. M took these photos for me because I was in one such post-shower lounging mood (which is why my hair isn't done and I have no makeup on), and also wanted to share my newest bralette with y'all! I don't know why I never thought to look in Aerie for them, I guess I just figured they would only have typical bras, but when M and I popped in to check out a super cute (but way too long rise) lobster swimsuit, I happened to notice and entire wall (yes a whole wall) of bralettes. I freaked out. I got two (buy one get one 50% off!) and some undies to match. Michael picked this one out because he loved the color, and I must say I love it too! (Somewhere between cornflower and lilac? What would you call this?) The quality is so amazing, way better than the ones I have from VS Pink and way cheaper and more unique than the ones I purchased from Cosabella (though I will say the lace on those seems higher quality). Overall I'm super obsessed and will need more in the near future. I am in love.

AERIE BRALETTE AND UNDIES :: H&M BUTTON-UP
In other news, we finally have a new couch! I am so happy we don't have to ever sit on M's gross leather one again! It's also so gloriously 70's, which I have fully embraced with our surrounding decor. I also got another VSCO pack for Lightroom, and this one is instant film presets! I have been ogling it for just about forever. I was fighting getting it instead of a possibly more practical one, but this is the aesthetic I really adore, so I'm pumped to be able to take my photos in that direction now if I so desire.
And that's it! I'm trying to keep it short since my fitness journey post was so long! Love you all!
LOVE the laid back, no makeup, all natural feel of these! Also, I hate getting dressed right after my shower too - I am usually all hot and bothered when I do that. I don't know why my temp rises so easily after my shower but it does! So I've started taking my time doing so after my shower when I can. And who doesn't love their man's shirts? I've taken a few of Cody's hostage by now! ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! At first I was pretty self-conscious feeling about posting without any hair or makeup done, but I'm glad I did. It's weirdly freeing in a sense. And yes! Hot and bothered is the perfect phrase for putting clothes on right out of the shower! It is the worst! Hostage shirts are definitely my favorite kind. I like to steal them only after he's worn them so they smell like him.

Love these photos so much! Honestly I can't even think of getting dress right after showering. I feel like going back to bed really!
ReplyDeleteYes! Agreed! Going back to bed would be great! And thank you for commenting and reading!
