Oh man, blogging has been difficult lately. During the day I just don't have the time, and when Coco finally goes down for the night, the last thing I want to do is sit at my desk and write out a blog post (fingers crossed Santa brings me a laptop for Christmas). So here I am obscenely late with my (glowing) review of NomNomNecklaces! For those of you out of the loop, NomNomNecklaces is a brand of handmade silicone teething jewelry for stylish mommas and chewing babies! I discovered teething jewelry while I was pregnant with my little Cocobean, but I never found the right ones for me. It was either a little too bland-trendy to fit in with my eclectic style, or it cost more than I could hope to afford. (This isn't to say that it was insanely expensive, more so that I am broke.) Then one day I stumbled upon NomNomNecklaces somewhere in the vastness of Instagram and immediately fell in love. Her designs range from super simple and trendy, to cutesy, quirky, fun (think big colorful elephants and Oreo cookies), and everything is affordable. In a funny turn of events, we both ended up messaging each other about a collab, and thus this post came to be! I highly encourage you to check out her Etsy shop and find something for yourself or a friend (or both!).

This is honestly probably the easiest review I've ever had to do because the main part of it wasn't dependent upon my opinions of the items, but rather Coco's, and let me tell you this baby is obsessed with this stuff! I wear this necklace 24/7. It is always on me. Always. Not only does CJ love to play with it while I carry her on my hip, but it really helps with her distraction while she's eating and keeps her little knife nails away from my skin (for the most part). We also snap the necklace to her high chair/cart cover and she is kept both busy and happy! While she preferred the bracelet at first, she now seems to think the necklace is more interesting, so we alternate between the two of them. So as far as Coco is concerned, NomNomNecklaces get an A++. (Which of course means they get one with me as well.)

As far as my thoughts on the jewelry go, I love it too! It is super easy to clean with a pacifier wipe or some hot water (which is good because pet hair loves to stick to it, haha), and the design I picked matches most of my wardrobe while still having personality of its own. In the spirit of full discloser, per usush, I will say that I took two beads off of the bracelet so it would fit around my tiny wrists better. All in all, I am obsessed with this stuff, and I think every momma needs it. Seriously. Every single mom. (Well, every mom with a baby anyways, obviously not my mother, but you know...) And it just so happens that there is a killer sale going on right now, so go check it out and get some of your holiday shopping out of the way!

And on a completely unrelated note, I am dying over how huge this coat is on Coco. It's size 3-6 and it just drowns her. This baby is seven months old! All her 3-6 outerwear is huge! Hahahaha it just cracks me up.

  1. Love this post - what a sweet little spot for photos. I also love that Coco is becoming quite the little blog star. Sorry, Rya, she is stealing the show ;)
